Magnus Carlsen is the star of the Aimchess Rapid, the eighth and penultimate tournament of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour before the final tournament. But the field is strong and with reigning World Rapid Champion Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Germany’s Vincent Keymer and a trio of Indian wonderkids in Arjun Erigaisi, Gukesh D and Aditya Mittal, who qualified via the MPL Indian Chess Tour, Carlsen will face five strong and ambitious juniors.
