Euro Club Cup: SuperChess and Cercle d’Echecs Monte Carlo claim titles

SuperChess, led by world champion Gukesh Dommaraju, won the open section of the European Club Cup in Rhodes with a perfect 14/14 match score, defeating Tuxera Aquaprofit Nagykanizsai in the final round to secure the title. Alkaloid and Novy Bor finished second and third respectively. In the women’s event, Cercle d’Échecs Monte Carlo clinched tournament victory after drawing their final match against Turkish Airlines.
