The tenth edition of the Ibero-American Chess Championship came to a close on Tuesday at the Hotel RL Aníbal in Linares, Spain. Alan Pichot, the Argentine-born GM now representing Spain, was the sole winner after obtaining 7½/9 points. IM Daniel García from Spain and GM Santiago Ávila from Colombia grabbed second and third place, respectively.
