Tata Steel R6: Carlsen beats Rapport, joins the lead

Three well-known names collected full points in round 6 of the Tata Steel Masters tournament, as Magnus Carlsen, Sergey Karjakin and Anish Giri all won their Friday games in Wijk aan Zee. Carlsen’s victory over Richard Rapport allowed him to catch the leaders in the standings table.
